9eek 9oddess' GRADUATION PICS!!!

image

Yes finally. Pics from my graduation! Funny how it wasn't exciting to me anymore. Since I started work about 2 months back, it seemed like life has moved on... in quiscence.

Me and my batchmates

Time has crept up on me, I thought I would miss school life... but perhaps sometimes there is too much to think of that I hardly miss it. Perhaps once and again when my mind begins to wander, I reminisce about the days I wake up in the afternoon, and wile the day away with not a care in the world.

Yes, I was once of those "pontang kias".... which proves that you don't have to necessarily attend classes to do well in school. A lot is personal effort. *but don't tell ur mother I said that, or take my word for it...*

These are of course a number of people I'd like to thank:

1) GOD - without whom nothing is possible.

2) My parents

Mummy & I

Daddy & I

3) My professors!

Seeing "Red"

No, Hwee and Bee are not "seeing red" over each other.

The "Red" refers to the 2-part movie "Red Cliff", which they went to watch along with 5 other friends (Choong Yong, Li Lian, Shaun, Sylvia and Kenneth... the "Fantom" again) right on the first day of its release.

The movie was at 11.40 pm (wow, so late) at because the "gang" had attended a dinner at Toa Payoh, which ended at about 10.30 pm. Hwee and his friend Shaun were itching for beer after that, while Bee went with the rest for some quick "sight-shopping".

"Red Cliff" is based on the famous "Battle at the Red Cliff" depicted in the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" novel but apparently, when John Woo made this film, he decided to follow the script of the official "Records of the Three Kingdoms", which varies slightly and even so, did not totally stick to that but like most Hongkong movies, created new storylines.
