Then were the avatars…  I tilted my head…  literally opened my mouth so damn big but the camera couldn’t detect. Or maybe this is the maximum for the cat.  An alien’s wink. Again, I attemped a few times before getting this. okay, time to do some serious stuff. A little here and there… First, the Tora and Ding Dang were such a letdown. The biscuit wasn’t crispy and the chocolate coating tasted so low-class. And the toys… I’m totally speechless about it. On the bright side, Ding Dang supposed to come with 6 chocolate balls but I got 7. Daph babe returned on Sunday and presented me with four doughnuts from Hong Kong. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! Very thoughtful of her. (A-HEM!) Forgot a photo of the doughnuts cos I was too anxious to devour the little ones. Na has her unique way of eating battered fish, that is to cut open the coating and dig out the white flesh. It was one of old wives’ tales that the amount of food you left on your plate reflects how good-looking your future husband will be. (leftover = not handsome) Thank goodness I cleared my plate… maybe only the chicken skin was left? Uh oh, my future husband will have double chin. Bought Munchy Donuts for today’s lunch. The kids were of course not so smart to arrange the leaves. Basically, EVERYTHING was done by ME and I really didn’t bother much.  After several reminders to “take care of your animals and don’t let them stick to the other page”, one still did it. Not that I wanted to shout at him but he can really piss me off badly.  ____________________________ This is irrelevant to the post but I just can’t help it. Damn nostalgic! Before I left the girls… Vietnamese spring rolls Mummy woke up early in the morning to make Vietnamese spring rolls. The last time she made them was more than ten years ago and so she got so excited over it and even forced me to bring them to work and share. Hmm… of course not my cup of tea. I prefer 31.   So this is my dinner. My back is aching like mad today and this has persisted for days. It sort of reminds me of the movie Shutter. Yawn!   A deep slumber after steamboat, what a nice way of ending a day huh?   Another J’s day  One of my girls just returned from her YunNan trip and she bought me a little gift. It was rather sweet of her.   She was saying that I could hang it on my handphone. But er… I will never degrade my beloved phone. Appreciate it anyway! “Sweet” moment followed by another. Then were the big boys who threw Cadbury chocolate pieces at me during the English lesson. Seeing them just brings out the inner child in me and I was insanely catching those free chocolates. One missed and hit my boob. That spelt the end of the throwing-catching game. The boy looked rather sheepish so I let him off. :D Sounds like an enjoyable working day for me? Not at all. I was so fuming mad at a fucking self-centred guy that I slammed the phone damn loud hoping that the recipient could sense my anger. Sad to say, that particular fellow is too dumb to comprehend such intricate human feelings. Pissed!   Worst of all, there wasn’t any water boiled as being told. I had to wait for the water to get heated and that freaky door slammed by itself again. No wind, no air-conditioner switched on, no nothing! I stopped the whatever boiling and rushed downstairs with that half-boiled water. And while making my way down, the door was still swinging followed by irritating children’s laughter! I was like what the hell… What a “nice” day to start with.  I’m getting insane. The hairdressers next door used a box to cover the spoilt tap and scribbled those words on it. Smart but not so smart. I even heard them discussing how to spell cannot. Maybe I can add in the “T” later, provided the box is still there.   And way before that box was put there, there was this old lecherous plumber who flirted with the new cheena hairdresser instead of fixing the tap. It’s not like I wanted to eavesdrop but I just HAPPENED to be around there. No wonder he took the whole day to fix the tap and it was still leaking! my dream When I’ve earned enough, I’ll change my money into 50cent coins and throw them at that porous face of my sickening boss. My very not right day Something seems wrong lately, or has pessimism taken over me? I’ve clinched a small deal today (yeah, really small one) but wasn’t at all delighted at my teeny-weeny achievement. It’s so not me. I was so not right today that I attempted to catch a baby roach with my bare hand. Eek! The workplace is full of this creepy-crawly and at the very moment when I was reaching out my hand, I wondered where my roach phobia has gone to. As what the uncle at my workplace said, I must have contact with roaches more often and only then I’ll overcome my fear. Oh well, it’s still better to resort to screaming when I face the big ones. Cockroaches are mostly nocturnal. The most active period will be within the 4 hours after the lights have been switched off. They are rather smart creatures, thinking there should not be much human activities in the dark so it’s easier for them to come out to carry out their own activities. That explains why we always spot them at night. Then you must be wondering about those we see in the day. Well, it is said that those that come out in the day are old and frail cockroaches, probably coming out to court death. 2. The females can store sperm in their body so they get pregnant only once! 3. Roaches can survive decapitation! So if you attempt to kill a cockroach by chopping of its head, you will probably see a headless roach staggering around the area for a week of two before dying of either dehydration or hunger. 4. Contrary to popular beliefs, both the male and females are capable of flying .5. Insecticides kill the parents but not the eggs, so burn them instead.
